I am in the process of planing and developing my diving club The Barrie Diving Club Hopefully with the assistance of the City of Barrie. If not with the City of Barrie, I will venture out as an independent and organize my own use of facility's to run my club the BARRIE DIVING CLUB.
A little about me..
I was a competitive diver as a youth and dove with Etobicoke diving club under the coaching of John Dickinson, Link about JD. http://www.etobicokediving.org/AboutUs.html and Skip Phoenix. While competing I won and placed top 3 in many competitions. Then I went on to teaching and coaching. I coached my own diving club "Northview diving club" for a few years before moving on to other endeavors.
Most recently, I have started back into diving when Barrie built a new pool with diving boards and started back into diving as a master diver. I just entered and won my age division in 1 and 3meter competition at the John Dickinson invitational in March of this year.

About the BDC...
My goal for the new Barrie dive club is to teach competitive diving to promising new springboard divers young and old, who want to compete in competitions across the province in local dive meets and perhaps to levels higher across the nation and international.
About this blog...
I will use this blog as an information source with pictures and video as well as tips and critiques on my own diving as well as my new divers in the future. I'll also post training times of when and where I'll be diving in future and I'll post scheduled training time for the Barrie dive club when and where it will be run.
